is to make sure I do my original cropping on a duplicate layer and have checked the "hide" box in the crop tool options bar and then save the image as a psd. When I open the psd file I won't see what I cropped off, but it's there. I have to increase the canvas size to show the additional picture information. Then I can recrop to different dimensions.
