My Grandma's Skin

When I was a little girl I used to be amazed by the topographical map that was the underside of my grandmother's hand. My other grandmother, of a similar age, did not have skin like this. Fifty years later, I look at my hands and what do I see?

Beautiful study, Isabel. I remember pressing on the popping veins in my mother's and father's hands as well, and now I have them, too! I like this shot with the ring and folds of the hand cropped out, too...makes it more graphic and puzzling. Great job!
