This picture represents the FIRST time since he was a wee kitty that Louie allowed himself to be touched by another human being in this house. Normally he runs and hides, but he has become used to Miri's visits. Tonight when he walked into the room I just picked him up and put him in Miri's lap and he allowed himself to be stroked. He was about to leave by the time I got the camera out and pointed! He weighs only 8.5 lbs. This picture makes him look fat!
