The airshow promoters hyped that the "Raptor was coming" for over a month before the show, drawing a large crowd for Sunday. What the promoters neglected to add was that the F-22 was actually heading down south to the Homestead airshow and would not be performing at all. The airshows fans were "treated" to one slow flyover by the F-22 - at high noon, no less (death by high contrast for photographers) - and then a quick disappearance south. I normally would not publish such a backlit, high contrast image, but this is literally the only shot I got.
Next year, the airshow organizers need to treat the fans to a full Raptor show.
