A Dickens Christmas, Skaneateles, NY

For a few years it has been the tradition to bring the cast of characters of Dickens to my village of Skaneateles during the holiday weekends starting Thanksgiving weekend and ending the weekend before Christmas. Because I work on Saturdays I have never participated until this year. I must say that the cast of Dickens Characters made it great fun and it was infectious. People come from all over enjoying the village with it's shops and restaurants. This looks like wayyyy to much fun. I wish we had something like that here in Illinois. That would be wonderful! Thankyou for sharing your fun, and your time to post all of these wonderful pictures of the short glimpses of life in your town. thankyou thankyou......cindy

Not sure if you'll remember me, but in what seems a previous lifetime, you were once my hairdresser. Now you have captured beautifully two of my three children as they wandered the streets as Dickens characters. Tiny Tim is my youngest, and two of the Cratchit sisters are also mine, including the one in glasses and mop hat pictured above. I've seen your work in the Stone Canoe also. You take beautiful photos.
