Because the lodge is in a remote area with abundant water, the best way, other than by trail, is by canoe. The local guides/boatmen take visitors from the landing on the Napo River to the cocha or oxbow lake where the lodge is located. They also take visitors on the many waterways where wildlife is approachable using the quiet canoes.
