I tried taking some photographs at Elaine's school's basketball game this weekend.

These kids were really having fun!

For me...it was

really difficult with the lighting and action. I tried a flash, but still way too ineffective. Very heavy shadows and ghoasting. I didn't manipulate this shot at all and got some interesting results. Part of the ball is missing, but it seems to add to the action a bit. I guess taking photos at events like this takes way more skill and knowledge than I am able to muster currently.
