Dave - this is quite the beauty to study - the exquisite feathers, tiny feet, tongue tip extended, his sense of urgency - you've captured it all! Just when I know my days are numbered w/these extraordinary creatures - you suggest a way to capture them. And by the way, I'm shopping for my first digital camera. Do you have any experience w/the more advanced point-&-shoots offering significant zoom, manual override, and image stabilization? Does owning a digital SLR mean hauling around a lot of lenses? Thanks for your opinion, Dave!
