Wrapping up

Well I think this is the last
of the vacation pictures.
There may be a couple more strays,
but this is the last in the series.
It really was the best vacation
that I have had recently.
You can take your pick of the reasons.
Was it that it was wonderful?
Was seeing old friends the best?
Was golfing at great courses it?
Was it the waterfront hotel?

While all those are true,
it was really the fact that
my divorce went final at the end.
If you have never been through it,
well let me tell you about how
the relief that day brings is beyond words.
It really breaks a log jam inside.
Everything you had to swallow becomes meaningless.

So now there is only one thing left in the divorce,
and that is filing the taxes and dividing it all.
The cool part is that it is all easy to handle
because the divorce is already final.
All of this procedure was written out.
We follow it, and we are done.
Right now that is the sweetest word, DONE.
