2008, the road ahead

Welcome to 2008!

I am on a bridge.
There are many other cars on it with me,
many others making journeys in their lives.
However, I am on my own.
I look ahead and I see the fog.
The fog represents the shadowing of the unknown.
I know there is a road there and I know it is mine.
I will travel that road.

I leave behind 2007.
I doubt I will ever buy wine made in 2007,
for I know it to be a bad year.

This is a great day in my life.
Each year, the New Year represents rebirth.
Normally I spend like to spend New Years Eve reflecting.
I think back on the past year and try to
figure out how to make the next one better.
I did that tonight.
For some reason, this one was pretty easy.
I enter this New Year not married.
Therefore I know that things that happened
in the past year will be better
because the things that happened can't happen again.
(Thank God)

I wish I could describe the feeling of hope I have inside.
It is a Joy to feel (oh God, no more bad jokes).
I feel renewed.

Good journey to you all in 2008.
May your dreams come true.
In fact, make them true.
You are the only one that can.
No other person in the world can do that but you.
Try to have less fear holding you back.
Try to do something you always wanted to do.
See something or somewhere you always wanted to.
If you can dream it, you can do it.
