Divorce

There are many steps in a divorce.
And each divorce is probably different.
There are the amicable ones (rare).
The nasty ones (unfortunately, not rare).
And then average ones.
You know, the ones they say one thing,
but then do the exact opposite.
In the end I guess mine was average.
Lots of hurt feelings and anger.
Followed by growth and learning.
The learning still amazes me.
It has been 3.5 years since this project started.
I have learned so much in that time.
I will "Grant" you, some tough lessons.
But totally worth it.
I wouldn't give up any one of those lessons.
The lessons stick to me,
Like jimmies on a candy apple.

PS: Why is Buffy the BGFE?
A: Because she likes that I look at this stuff.
It isn't that she "lets" me or "pushes" me.
She wants me to be as happy as I can be.
Sometimes that involves me looking at poop.
Just glad the poop doesn't give me a shitty outlook.
