Why this one?

Oh that is the question, isn't it.
I mean I have hundreds of pictures.
I could have chosen any of them for today.
So why would I start the new year like this?
Because this was such a significant day last year.
I mean what you see is two adults having fun.
Buffy and I tore up the town that night.
But so much more was really going on.
I learned so much that night.
And I grew quite a bit from it.
It was simply a fun night away.
And it is one I will remember forever.
I guess this night was my fire walk.
The one you start one way, but change from it.
It wasn't the moon, it wasn't the food.
It wasn't the walk or the shops.
It was the company on the journey.
And I am so grateful for the company I keep.
