Out of focus

I hate catching colds.
Sure, it could be worse, but colds suck.
They just throw your whole world out of focus.
The world just gets tiny and I struggle.
Can't focus on work or life.
It is 2008 and we still can't cure colds.
Sure, we can take things to mask them,
but those only last a few hours,
and it just feels worse as they wear off.
I know I am just bitching about it.
I want it to be gone though.
I wanted it gone as it started last week.
Now I am getting impatient about it.
It has interfered with plans.
It has interfered with work.
And worst of all it has interfered with life.
I'm done with this cold, but it is not done with me.
Blech.
