ITS A METAPHOR

There have been many messages here.
Some people leave them on the white board.
Some spell them out in my fridge magnets.
Some stay there as long as they can.
"Life is for living" is still on my board.
"Thanks, it was excellent" is gone, but remembered.
"Its a metaphor" was a new one that showed up Saturday.
Shockingly I did not see it until this morning.
If you knew the context of it you would laugh.
I sure laughed when I saw it.
I was having a rough day and then poof.
All of a sudden for a brief moment I had a smile.
The message itself is actually a metaphor.
I may not be totally sure of what yet,
but this one will be there for a bit,
just because it made me smile.

PS: And heck, the whole project is a metaphor, isn't it?
