To anyone going through a divorce

Let me tell you what I have learned so far.
This may be right or wrong, it is for you to decide.
I view divorce as a long dark tunnel.
You try to get out of it but the concrete blocks your way.
The only way through it is to get to the other end.
No matter how much you want to avoid the path, you can't.
You will bang your head on the tunnel and you will bleed.
It is a much longer tunnel than you ever have seen.
All your demons are in there with you.
You will occasionally catch a glimpse of light.
There will be people along the way to help.
They are there to show you where the end is, listen to them.
Don't give yourself up during the journey.
As long as you push forward you will be fine.
It takes a long time to get through the tunnel.
But eventually you will wake up one day and see green again.
In fact you will see the world like you never did before.
You will know yourself much better for the trip.
And in the end of that you will look back through the tunnel.
You will see the beginning and the end of it.
They you will take a cool picture and write about it for others.

PS: And for a joke, every time I say tunnel substitute the word vagina.
It makes this whole entry just a little less serious and a little more fun.
