You hear that?

This is one of those toss in photos.
I didn't get a chance to get out yet.
So you get some leftover photo from last week.
I think I should go take a shower and go out.
Maybe take some pictures along the way.

If you ask what picture was supposed to be here?
Well that is actually an interesting question.
It was supposed to be a shot with my new camera.
After last week wanting a lighter camera,
I went out and bought a Nikon D60.
Light as a feather and a fairly cool camera.
From the sample shots I have seen with it, worthy.
It would have been nice to have a light camera body.
Unfortunately it was quite obvious it had image problems.
The image quality was just horrible.
I thought it might be the lens so I tested my 12-24.
I put the lens that came with th eD60 on my D200.
The lens is tack sharp but the images were crap on the new one.
No amount of adjustments helped the poor image.
Now to be honest I think it has a bad sensor.
There is no way this camera would exists with those pictures.
Unfortunately it left a bad taste in my mouth for the D60.
It is already boxed up to go back and I'll ship it Tuesday.
Its a shame really because it handled very well.
Nice and light and it would have been nice for Disney.
If I would not be able to get the shots I want though,
what would be the use of carrying a camera because it is light?
So back it all goes and I will carry the D200 to Disney.
