Saturday October 7, 2006, the Western Prototype Modelers Meet was held for the 17th year in La Habra, CA. We had a crowd of about 165 plus the staff and exhibitors. The increased space allowed for more room between the raised tables. Five great Clinics were presented in a separate room, by Ken Edmier, Mike Rose, Tim Frederick, Chad Hewett, and Gene Fusco.

We had over 685 models, two Free-mo Modular layouts in both HO & N. Manufacturers present included Athearn, Rail Yard Models, Atlas, Details West, BLMA, A-Line PPW and Historical Societies of the Santa Fe Penn Central and ELHS.
