The Western Prototype Modelers Meet was held for the 16th year in La Habra, CA October 9, 2005. With 50% more display space than last year we had a crowd of about 130 including the staff and exhibitors. The increased space allowed for more room between the raised tables. Five Clinics were presented in a separate room, by Ken Edmier, Mike Rose, Elden Gatwood, Eric Goodman and a combination of Harry Wong and Paul Ellis.

We had about 850 models, two Free-mo Modular layouts in both HO & N along with the Port Costas display. Manufacturers present included Athearn, Rail Yard Models, Microscale, Details West, BLMA, Red Cap Lines, A-Line and Historical Societies of the Santa Fe and Union Pacific.
