A Yazgolumi girl stands at the entrance to her home. About 6,000 people live in Yazgulom, in five different villages. Their language, Yazgulomi, is spoken nowhere else. Yazgulom's residents are Pamiri. The vast majority of Pamiris are Ismaili, but by contrast Yazgulomis practice the Sunni branch of Islam. Photo taken on July 06, 2016 in Matravn, Yazgulom, Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province, Tajikistan.
