This beauty dish came with a diffuser sock,and here I carefully matched my flash exposure with my shutter speed to get JUST the right exposure to show how the diffuser baffle makes a slight dark spot visible on the front of the diffuser when the modeling light is on. In practice, the FLASH exposure is brighter,and there is no fall-off in the center of the reflector when using the flash,and the catchlights show NO dark center,but a nice,round,even white circle in the eyes.
