The first photos in this gallery were taken using the EOS 20D and the Canon 50mm f/1.8 EF lens of recent manufacture. It's a very inexpensive lens,and very prone to ghosting when shot toward bright light sources of all types. The Original-size files display in Adobe RGB, while the other sizes look terrible. The second batch of photos were shot the following day,with a slightly different background lighting setup, but also with a 50mm f/1.8 AF lens, a Nikkor from the early,skinny-ring era I bought last month for $19.95. As with the Canon files, the original size images look vibrant,other sizes look like crap.
