setting early

Aberdeen

having dusted of the camera and made a few resolutions I found a very small window of opportunity today to take a snap...the sun is "setting early" and although there was some lovely light with sun at my back the subject element was lacking for me, so I turned around and shot more directly into the light. I am pleased with the result.

You were right to turn. Gorgeous golden light. Beautiful tones. V

Lovely finger branches swaying in the light and painting golden touches on the fields beyond the road and fence.

Yep, lovely warm afternoon sun...could almost be late summer from that light :o))
