before leaving the west coast this morning heading back for Aberdeen myself and Meg went skimming stones on Loch Broom.....this beach consists mainly of flat stones that are superb skimmers. It has taken vast geological time for these stones to be flattened and rounded by the elements and it really is unusual to see.
