The bad news was that my monthly statistical return was due to be
completed at work today ~ the most tedious task known to man!
Surprisingly everything seemed to work out at the first attempt ~ most unusual!
The good news was that the office leave chart showed that I had applied for
Friday and Monday off ~ even though I know for sure that I didn't!
Never one to argue about holidays I immediately took them up on their offer
and am now looking forward to my unexpected, long weekend!
