Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin Widow Terri said that knew he would die prematurely,
Terri spoke to Sky news for the first time since her husbands death, Terri said that her husband had decided to live an action-packed life because of his mother’s premature death. Terri said that “When he lost his mother in an automobile accident he said: ‘You know I have a feeling that something like that’s going to happen [to me]’. He was always in a hurry. ‘I want to get as much done as I can while I am here.’ There’s a lesson to be learnt from that.”
The moment of Steve Irwin’s death was captured on video and kept by police for months. Terri said she had not watched the footage and had destroyed the tape.
Terri said that I didn’t want to see it, but I wanted to be the one to dispose of it because to me that was the last of Steve and it was almost like having a funeral for that as well. The final goodbye. I lost my soulmate - it was devastating, extraordinary, incredibly difficult, very sad. Yet I am extremely determined. I have chosen to carry on with his legacy.”
