Collectors sure to clamour for cards
Alyssa Kimlin | 9th May 2009
Jayne Tyson gets ready for the start of The Chronicle’s Wild Card collector series which kicks off today.
JAYNE Tyson can’t wait to see the smiles on children’s faces when she hands over their Wild Cards.
The owner of Bridge Street Plaza News said she was very excited to be involved in The Chronicle’s great new collector series.
"All the kids love Bindi Irwin and they love animals," Ms Tyson said.
"I am happy to be involved and can’t wait for it to start."
To collect all the cards, cut out the redemption form every Saturday (today’s is on page 11 of This Weekend) and collect and attach the tokens that are published Saturday to Friday.
Every day from today until Friday, June 5, there will be a token to collect for the 24-limited edition Wild Card collector’s cards.
The Wild Cards are produced by Australia Zoo and come in packs of six each week for four weeks.
Take the completed form to any participating newsagency, which are listed on www.thechronicle.com.au
The cards are only available from participating newsagents and The Chronicle office while stocks last.
A display poster is also available to buy for $2.
To ensure you don’t miss out on getting your Chronicle for this promotion and many more great competitions, organise to have The Chronicle home delivered by calling 1800 361 604 or see your local home delivery agent.
All cards must be collected before Saturday, June 27.
Week one, which starts today, is all about International Conservation Projects, week two focuses on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve, week three is about Australian Conservation Projects and week four, the final week, is about the Australia Zoo Rescue Unit.
