After the Acropolis, the tour continued to Kusadasi, a city believed to be the birthplace of Homer, the legendary author who told of the story of Troy in The Iliad.
Kusadasi is on Turkey's Aegean Coast, now a famous resort town. This is the first time I saw a road-side gym open to the public, free of charge, provided by the local government.
