African Landscape Art

EMC Studio

Sorry for all the glare and reflections but… hopefully Jen got a better shot. I took this early before I knew about the other showing, ugh!
As most of you know, Scooter-bug has been taking art lessons since the fall. Her last class was on Wednesday and tonite was “The Gallery Showing”. All artists from the 15 classes displayed 5 pieces of their favorite art. This was one of the five (its been hanging in my dining room) until last week when I was asked to return it to the studio for the showing. I now have an empty space in my dining room, and will have to remain empty until July. It was chosen to be displayed at the Glen Rock Library for the month of June featuring “young” artists of the area! The subject was “African Landscape Art” I promise to take a better pix of it when I get it back!
Go Scooter-bug, we are so proud of you!

The warmth of the painting travels right through the reflection, so there's no missing what a delightful composition it is. I know your dining room must be pining for its missing masterpiece.

I wonder if Picasso got his stuff up in a library gallery
when he was 6 years old?
Doubtful.
~ Excellent job Aud! ~
