"Tunesmithing Off Music Row" celebrated its seventh anniversary from 6:30-9 p.m. Oct. 7 (Thursday) at Casablanca Coffee, 602 12th Ave. S. (at Icon in the Gulch). Featured performers included singer-songwriters Lisa Aschmann, Joel Atkins, A.J. Bigler, Butterfly, Wil Comstock, Gordon Ellis, Timothy R. Flynn, Lucy Hart, Pete and Pat Luboff, Bonnie Lee Panda, Lynne Drysdale Patterson, Candy Paull, Carol and Marty Rainone, Kimberly Maiers Shaw, John Shaw, Janey Street, Steve Trinward, Betsy Warren, Chuck Whiting, Brian Wright, and others. Chuck Whiting hosted the show. Admission was free. There were prize giveaways, including new music from Warner Bros. "Tunesmithing" is sponsored by Whiting Publicity & Promotions.
