50th Anniversary of Nashville Rock & Roll honoring The Casuals with; Sons of the Beach, Clifford Curry, Buzz Cason & Mac Gayden at Douglas Corner on December 7, 2006. The Casuals were Nashville's first rock n roll band formed in 1956. Steve Jarrell and the Sons of the Beach have been performing for years from Nashville Tennessee to the Grand Cayman Islands. Clifford Curry is known worldwide as the guy that got a hole shot in his soul! Buzz Cason is an American rock singer, songwriter and producer. He was among the founding members of The Casuals, Nashville's first rock 'n' roll band. He wrote songs together with Bobby Russell, and both ran a publishing and record company until 1974. Cason was also a vocalist behind stars such as Elvis Presley and Kenny Rogers. Mac Gayden, inventor of the slide wah guitar technique, and co-writer with Buzz Cason of the hit song "Everlasting Love". He helped found Area Code 615 and Barefoot Jerry.
