Pictures of the old stations on the Athens Urban Railway Line (Kifissia - Piraeus) that have remained intact (by the end of May 2003) from a massive-scale modernisation project (2001 - 2004), which is necessary for the functional integration with Athens Metro and which will result in complete renovation and from-scratch redesigning of all stations, the initial construction of which ranges from 1869 to 1957. In Omonia and Piraeus stations, works have already been completed and effort was made, so that the exact old interior architecture of these particular stations be kept.
