I keep saying that I'm not going to take any more flower pictures; everyone takes flower pictures. Still, whenever I see a bright, beautiful, or otherwise interesting fleur, I can't help myself. These are just some new lilies I saw and couldn't resist. I did, however, fiddle with the image to focus on the blossoms while not completely losing the background.
PS: Crop; Adjust levels and contrast, then minor USM; Select blossoms (using Select Color and extensive mask painting in Quick Mask mode), feather the selection; Create new layer with copy of the selected blossoms; Insert underlying (between new layer and the original image. fill with black. Reduce opacity to permit some background to show through. A second version was created by filling the middle layer with a (yellow) color sampled from the blossom.
