The demolition of Saint George Catholic Church has begun.

Built in 1891, this is the oldest Lithuanian Catholic Church in America.

Despite many protests, this beautiful architectural landmark will be completely torn down.

Sad to see landmarks being demolished. Good work by you to record it. I hope that the lot left behind will be put to good use and not for another fast food restaurant or Starbucks.
