Schulmuseum - Michelstetten - Niederosterreich (lower Austria) - 2006/07

From November 2006 till April 2007, creates togheter to Petra Fibich the scenographic ambients for the Museum of the School in Michelstetten, Lower Austria.
In this project (and following the designs of the artistic director Markus Windberger)we had to ambient the rooms, walls, floors, corners, entrance, etc...according the times in which every step of the museum is dedicated.
It has been very complex and interesting project full of differemt technics and materials and the resutlts have been of a high quality and totally fit for the intentions of the creators of the museum.
There are seven different rooms: fisics 1930, Biology 1920, Geography 1900, Latin 1700's, Maths 1800's, German 1800's and the director's office. Also two corredors, one long where caligraphies and experimental activities are holded, and a short laberintic one also full of many actions where 3 big arches grings the visitors thru information about their times (antique, romanic and barroc).
The entrance at the museum hold aswell a long blackboard with a kind of a quiz for the visitors and for to reach this entrance they must pass thru a giant book as a door made on iron and painted as if it was old.
Many more things are making this beautiful museum but impossible to explain. Better to go and see it or to have a walk around all this images.
