This is a 100 per cent section of a 1600 ISO Alpha 100 shot processed using Iridient's Mac-only RAWdeveloper utility. It's been subjected to much darkening and contrast adjustment, but no luminance noise reduction and no sharpening. Colour noise reduction, which does not degrade sharpness, is set to maximum and works well. The noise/grain is extremely film-like, even, and crisp with fantastic levels of detail sharpness from this process. It's much superior to ACR 3.4 and indicates that as choice of raw processing software increases, the A100's 1600 setting will be transformed. The detail is all there. View at original size!
