The two camera were used almost side by side. Both were set to Program and AF-A. The 7D has given less exposure (prior to these Adobe ACR 3.4 conversions) with more apparent saturation. The 7D has also chosen a focus point on the singer's face; the A100 consistently (every shot) chose the closer focus point of the left hand. I did not interfere by locking focus manually. The 7D used a smaller aperture with the 24-105mm zoom, the A100 a larger one with the prime 100mm. But the highlights on the A100 (the player's shoulder, fabric etc) show less colour clipping and the shadows are brighter. D-R+ was enabled.
