This shot was taken with the 18-125mm Sigma. I did request a second sample, and returned this lens; I have kept the replacement, but the distortion is still very much on this level. I use it for people and general shots only. At 18mm, the lens has very low distortion and can be used for buildings etc. In contrast, the 18-200mm Tamron shows strong barrel distortion at 18mm, but it almost perfect at middle focal lengths and has very limited pincushion distortion even at 200mm. But it's not as useful for wide angle work.
