Visitors to Echo Point can take a 10 minute walk down to the first of the "Three Sisters" and even
cross a bridge to take a break on a narrow ledge, where a comfy bench is provided. From there one
can get quite spectacular pictures looking into the valley. Of course the steep stepway toward the
end of the walk is a little hairy and I wouldn't advise actually looking DOWN while you are
negotiating it ... although there IS a sturdy handrail.

Wow, quite an amazing sight. It is hard to get a sense of scale until you spot the people!

parts of the Grand Canyon have spires like this. Very startling, effective POV that makes me feel I am right there. V

Incredible formations, though I prefer to see them from your perspective rather than that of the hikers negotiating the path.

Wish I were there. What magnificent scenery.

Looks great in this photo ..... Sharp and great light, and the little people give a great sense of scale!
LyleT29-Aug-2011 22:30
I thought they had stopped access there. Great shot, the two people give it scale which you dont see too often. The trees in the background work a treat as well.

That backdrop could almost be the sea! :o)
