We'd been in Sydney and were driving west along the M4. When we began to approach the foothills to
the Blue Mountains, all of a sudden we passed into a dark forbidding zone, leaving what had been a
bright sunny day behind us. It was almost like something out of "Star Trek" or "The Twilight Zone".
