Well it wasn't the toughest section of the trek but on that soft sand as we inched toward the
Wanda Beach SLSC car park, it surely SEEMED as if it had been the toughest. The shower and the
rest certainly felt good. Dinner that night was excellent when Gerry, Heather, Norma and I were
joined by my brother, Mark and his wife Pam. On the morrow the three girls will form up a welcoming
committee at Bass & Flinders Point complete with champagne, lots of photographs and even a purple
finishing tape which Gerry, Mark and I will cut for the cameras. Just a foolish bit of frivolity but
... well ... why not? Let us hope for a really special day of weather.
