Here was a series of private VIP cars. One was for the NSW Commisioner for Railways and another
was for the Governor. Some of them had been used for Royal visits back in the days when schedules
allowed for leisurely train journeys. I have an idea that at least some of these were originally
imported from America. The interiors were not open for inspection on this occasion.
