Jamison Creek was dammed to form Wentworth Falls Lake many years ago in order to provide a ready
water supply for steam locomotives pulling trains across the Blue Mountains. These days the Lake
is mostly used for recreation and water sports. Here is part of the small spillway which releases
water to the stream which feeds Wentworth Falls itself. Pictures of all of these things are to be
found in my Blue Mountains galleries. The lake is pretty high at present and tips out water with the
rhythm of the wind driven waves.
