Sydney Airport was once exclusively referred to as "Kingsford Smith Airport" after an early aviation
pioneer called Charles Kingsford Smith. Very often it was simply referred to as "Mascot Aerodrome"
after the suburb of its location. I note with interest that these days "Sydney Airport" is in
larger lettering than "Kingsford Smith". Sign of the times I suppose.
