Oh not again. This happened to us about two years ago on one of the north coast beaches. A stream
bisects the beach. It is just a bit too wide to jump across and I don't fancy walking around in wet
shoes the rest of the day. Exhausting all alternatives, I take my shoes and socks off and wade
across. Despite it being the middle of winter, the water doesn't prove to be TOO cold.
