I had wanted to see the quaint old cricket ground at Reg Bartley Oval complete with picket fence
and Edwardian style pavilion, here on the Rushcutters Bay reserve. Alas, the entire area is
dug up for repair and renewal. Big barriers are everywhere, concrete paths are beng installed
gardens are being planted and the old pavilion is in bits. What a disappointment. This scene
of part of the picket fence is all that I could secure without the appearance of construction mess.
