Here we are, still in the Fossil Museum. This is part of the fossilised skeleton of a Plesiosaur.
These animals date from the Mesozoic Era, 251-65 million years ago. They were one of four major
groups of marine carnivores from the time of the dinosaurs. They grew as long as 17 metres.
