This is one of a set of oversize sculptures which can be see on the reserve side of Lillianfels Ave
at Katoomba. Together they commemorate the building of the first road through the Blue Mountains
using convict labour. The whole thing was set in place by the Rotary Club of Katoomba to mark the
first centenary of Rotary International back in 2005.
