15Apr09Ef.jpg

This is the first actual blue sky sunny day we've had in the mountains for a few weeks. I went out,
determined to get SOMETHING. The thing is that EVERYONE takes pictures of the Three Sisters. I tend
to avoid subjects that "everyone" shoots, so I compromised by shooting the famous Blue Mountains
landmark from an unusual angle, namely from just above Cyclorama point - the site of a massive 1930s
landslide, a picture of which appears in my "PaD 08" gallery. To see it click HERE

I am very happy you didn't avoid this one. My firend avoids local landmarks, but I wonder if he shoots for the natural love of photography or to be "original". No offense is intended here David. Personally I shoot simply because of my passion for photography and recognition and originality are secondary. Great shot and very well done and it shows me something I have never seen before and I thank you for that pleasure. Big Vote!!
