Fog, fishing tackle

I found this scene in the fog during our stay in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia this summer. It's a very picturesque area, surely one of the most photographed in Canada.
I liked the contrast between the brilliantly coloured floats and the muted gray of the fog-shrouded buildings, and positioned the camera to lead the eye from the foreground into the image.

Yes, this is, quite simply, superb.
The saturated colours of the tackle with the ghostly, mysterious shapes of the buildings gives an uncommon depth to this beautiful work.

Great image: nice use of the diagonal flow of the foreground objects, good contrast betweent the foreground and background, nice contrast between the foreground sharpness and background less sharp.

If this were mine...it would be framed and hanging on a wall in my home...preferably an entrance way, so everyone who entered, could feast their eyes upon it first thing!
Stunning image, David! Absolutely STUNNING!!! The viewer's eye is taken directly fromm the color to the fog...beautifully composed and professionaly presented. braVo!!

Judy
