There were five or six cops on our corner doing a great job of controlling the pedestrian traffic that had to cross the avenue at regular intervals.
Having lived in Florida for so long I was vaguely wondering whether they were 'out of joint' about it.
Then these guys came by followed by at least another block of officers marching in uniform in the parade.
